Why Adoption for Us
When we first married we both desired having children and raising a family. Unfortunately because of health reasons we are unable to do that on our own. We prayed to know what we should do. The answer that we received was to try adoption. We both knew that we would love any child that came into our home regardless of race, nationality, or sex. We are excited to share the love that we have for one another with a child and give him/her all the many blessings that we have had in our lives. As we've worked on getting ourselves ready to adopt we have grown immensely and have gained such a love for the birth mother's who choose to place their children for adoption. We know that it is not an easy decision but one that will change lives forever. We know that the child who will join our family is meant to be a part of our family. We may not ever know why we particular trials in this life or the 'bigger picture' but we do know that in the end it will be worth it and that it is part of our Heavenly Father's plan. We firmly believe that adoption is the correct path for us and are excited for the day when we can adopt a child.
Message to the Birthparent
Thank you for the love you’ve already shown through your selflessness in considering placing your child for adoption. While we can’t begin to imagine what this process must be like for you, we can share what it means to us. We hope that as you take a look into our lives you find comfort in what we can offer your child.
Early in our marriage we tried to have children without success. Later we found out that having children biologically would not be an option. We looked at various options and felt strongly that adoption was the answer. Although it has been difficult not having children, it has also given us time to be together. Through our seven years of marriage we’ve had many experiences that have brought us closer together and increased our love for one another. Now we are ready to share that love with a child of our own.
We have been blessed with wonderful families who show us such amazing love and support. They are just as excited as we are to welcome your child into our family. Our parents instilled in us strong values, a love of life, and the importance of family. We hope to do the same with our children. In addition to becoming a part of our family, we will help our children develop an appreciation for their birth family. We look forward to teaching our children who they are and sharing the things we both love with them.
We have a great love for the gospel of Jesus Christ and we have seen how it has blessed our lives and others. We are excited for the days when we can teach our children about Jesus Christ. We know that the child who blesses our family will come as a result of great sacrifice on your part. We pray that our Heavenly Father will help you feel peace as you are guided toward your decision. Thank you for taking the time to consider us. We hope to meet you soon.
